The location is quite easy to reach from the city center, and it’s very popular among both locals and tourists. The restaurant has a humble, casual setting with a lively Javanese dining atmosphere. Their signature dish is the famous Thengkleng Rica-Rica, a spicy goat ribs stew bursting with flavor. The spiciness is bold yet addictive, perfect for those who love a good kick. Another highlight is the Goat Satay, tender and juicy without any strong odor, and the Goat Tongseng, a rich and savory stew with a sweet-spicy balance. My recommendations: 1. Thengkleng Rica-Rica (the star of the menu) 2. Goat Satay (soft, flavorful, and perfectly grilled) 3. “ I visited this restaurant some years ago. When it was still a side street food stall. Pak Manto himself was the cook. Now the restaurant is bigger and managed professionally. As far as I remember the taste has not changed. In terms of the price, it has increased a lot. But in my opinion it is still worth it. Buntel masak is still my favourite. I would rate the food 4 out of 5. ”

The highlight for me was the marrow soup—rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. It’s the kind of dish that warms you up and keeps you wanting another bowl. The satay was another star of the menu. The meat was very tender, grilled perfectly, and packed with smoky flavors. It is easy to see why so many people recommend this place for satay lovers. I also tried the tongseng, which had a strong, bold taste with perfectly balanced spices. Personally, I felt it could use a little more soy sauce to enhance the sweetness, but overall it was still very delicious and authentic. What impressed me most is that the quality of food comes at a very reasonable price. You get generous portions without breaking the wallet, which makes it a great choice whether you are eating alone, with family, or with friends. If you are looking to enjoy the true flavors of Solo’s traditional culinary heritage, Sate Pak Manto is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended! ”
“ This is a place for pure goat lovers ... literally, the very aroma is goat, which may not be to everyone's liking. Large common seating....which can be very hot, fans didn't help much. The food was served in less than 2 minutes, and the servers were helpful. Recommend the sum sum...served hot so you can extract every last drop. The Sate Kambing, Sate Buntel, Sumsum segar, and Nasi godog were flavourful. ”
“ alhamdulillah they taste delicious. not too fatty though (I actually like it fattier). I ordered buntel satay mixed for take away. it is same price as one package of sate buntel (contains 3 satays), so I think it is a downside because 3 original satays are not comparable with 1 buntel satay. ”
